ULTRA LOW PRESSURE DROP HEAT RECOVERY MEDIA
EXPERIENCED RTO ENGINEERS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED
“ULTRA” CERAMIC HEAT RECOVERY MEDIA,
FOR USE IN REGENERATIVE THERMAL OXIDIZERS.
“ ULTRA” random packed ceramic media replaces typical 1” and low-pressure drop (LPD) ceramic saddle media with an ultra low-pressure alternative , without sacrificing thermal efficiency . Its design also makes it an economical alternative to high priced structured medias.
- ULTRA” reduces the pressure required to move process flow through the heat recovery sections of a typical 2 or multi-chamber RTO by 50%. This equates to approximately 33% system horsepower savings, compared to the typical 1” Flexisaddle ™ or 1” interlocking type saddle.
- ULTRA” requires 20% less system horsepower than conventional 1-1/2 saddles while still maintaining equivalent 1” saddle thermal efficiency.
- A typical 8-foot bed of ULTRA, at 250/scfm/sq.ft. face velocity, requires a pressure drop equivalent to a 5 foot structured bed system.
- Since “ULTRA” is random packed, it is a direct replacement for the typical 1” and 1-1/2 Flexisaddle™, 1” and 1-1/2 interlocking type saddles.
- ULTRA's” chemical composition and crushing strength is equal to that of typical saddles.
- Cell Stone® ceramic heat recovery media carries a 2-year warranty against thermal decomposition.
