ULTRA LOW PRESSURE DROP HEAT RECOVERY MEDIA
EXPERIENCED RTO ENGINEERS SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED
ULTRA CERAMIC
HEAT RECOVERY MEDIA,
FOR USE IN REGENERATIVE THERMAL OXIDIZERS.
ULTRA® random packed ceramic media replaces typical 1” and
low-pressure drop (LPD) ceramic saddle media with an ultra low-pressure
alternative without sacrificing thermal efficiency . Its design also makes
it an economical alternative to high priced structured medias.
- ULTRA®
reduces the pressure required to move process flow through the heat
recovery sections of a typical 2 or multi-chamber RTO by 50%. This
equates to approximately 33% system horsepower savings, compared to
the typical 1 Flexisaddle or 1 interlocking type
saddle.
- ULTRA®
requires 20% less system horsepower than conventional 1-1/2 saddles
while still maintaining equivalent 1 saddle thermal efficiency.
- A typical 8-foot bed of ULTRA, at 250/scfm/sq.ft.
face velocity, requires a pressure drop equivalent to a 5 foot
structured bed system.
- Since ULTRA®
is random packed, it is a direct replacement for the typical 1
and 1-1/2 Flexisaddle, 1” and 1-1/2” interlocking type saddles.
- ULTRA's®
chemical composition and crushing strength is equal to that of typical
saddles.
